DETAILS of a major initiative to help fleet decision-makers cover all aspects of at-work road safety will be revealed at this year’s Hit for Six Conference.

As exclusively revealed on Fleet NewsNet in December, the Department for Transport (DfT) and the Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) are putting together a CD-ROM that covers all aspects of at-work road safety.

Fleets will be provided with an in-depth look at the CD-ROM at the event, which this year is offered at a choice of two venues. At Hit for Six South, held in Oxford on September 20, Britta Lang, senior researcher for TRL, will be providing details on the project.

At Hit for Six North, in Ilkley on September 27, Saul Jeavons, head of investigations and risk management for TRL, will be speaking.

  • Tickets are still available at a discount early-bird price of £155 for decision-makers and £205 for suppliers. Prices do not include VAT.
