North gets its own fleet event

FLEETS throughout the north of England will have a dedicated fleet management conference on their doorsteps with the launch of Hit for Six North next month.

The event will take place on September 27 at the Craiglands Hotel in Ilkley, West Yorkshire.

Already the traditional Hit for Six South event, which takes place in Oxford on September 20, is nearing capacity as delegate orders flood in for the popular conference.

Declan Curry, business presenter on BBC Breakfast and News 24, will be chairing the northern conference, which focuses on the six most important issues facing fleets. This year’s subjects cover health and safety, vehicle funding options, fleet management best practice, van fleet management, tax and wholelife costs and fleet management and the environment.

Speakers come from major industry associations and also include fleet managers, while there is also plenty of opportunity for networking.
