New Transit deal with BT

FORD says it has a deal with BT to supply Transits to the firm’s 16,000-strong medium commercial vehicle fleet, until at least March 2007.

Most of the vehicles will be new-generation Transit vans, in BT’s Openreach livery. The latest deal came into effect in January after a competitive tendering exercise. Ford says it won the business mainly on wholelife costs.
