It’s ball season at ACFO

It’s ball season for fleet operators’ association ACFO. Tickets have gone on sale for the annual ACFO North East charity dinner, which will take place on October 7.

The event, to be held at the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford, will raise money Yorkshire Air Ambulance and The Fire Service National Benevolent Fund.

The evening will also see the launch of the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service ‘Red Hot Dates 2007’ calendar.

Tickets are priced at £45 and include a four-course dinner and entertainment from Sean Finch and The Street Band.

For tickets and details, call Nigel Allsopp, North East chairman, on 07740 278827.

And a few tables remain for ACFO’s South West and Wales region annual ball. Tickets for the event, which is due to take place on September 30 at the Cheltenham Park Hotel, cost £35 per person and proceeds from the event will be donated to Into 2 Change, a charity which runs alcohol and drug rehabilitation units in Cardiff and Newport.
