BCA Birmingham staged its first Honda sale recently in an event that marked the official launch of Honda's New Civic i-SHIFT.

A total of 161 Honda’s were offered and sold for 102.5% of CAP Clean, the 100% conversion generating a turnover in excess of £2 million.

The new i-SHIFT models averaged 96.2% of cost new. The i-SHIFT is Honda's new gearbox where you get the driver involvement of a manual gearbox with the comfort of an automatic transmission, while providing the fuel economy and emissions in line with a manual.

Other strong performers included 05 55-registered Accord Saloons, which achieved up to 109% of CAP Clean and the 2005-registered Civic range which sold for up to 118% of CAP Clean.

Honda (UK) used car sales manager Richard Battams-Scott said: 'Honda product continues to perform at the very peak of market expectations as seen with the debut of the new i-SHIFT models. Our dealer network has been consistently supporting the sales programme with BCA and bidding confidently across the range.'

BCA’s national account manager, manufacturer sales Steve Clarke, said: 'Honda has set an impressive benchmark with this 100% sell out success reflecting the high demand from the dealer network.' The Honda Closed sale programme also takes place at BCA’s new centre in Bedford and the company’s flagship site in Blackbushe.
