A FRANK account of how the launch of an employee car ownership scheme led to staff chaos will be revealed to delegates attending the Hit for Six Conference in Yorkshire next week.

The detailed account of how in-depth preparation failed to avoid problems and led to a review of the scheme this year will be revealed by David Weeks, head of communications at Hanson.

Hanson was one of the first high-profile employee car ownership schemes launched and Weeks will provide a first-hand view of the potential pitfalls.

Weeks is one of a number of speakers at the conference, sponsored by Honda with a session sponsored by Eagle Eye, being held on September 27 at the Craiglands Hotel, Ilkley.

It covers the six top issues facing fleets, based on comments from Fleet News’ readers in a major survey.
