Describe your fleet
I am responsible for 83 cars which are all driven by cash allowance takers. We also lease 216 vans but these are managed by another member of staff.
What is your background?
I have worked as a fleet administrator at Cbrands – an alcohol distributor – for the past three years. Prior to that I worked as a fleet administrator at Motability.
What do you enjoy about your job?
The fact that every day is different. My job is extremely varied as I am also responsible for the mobile communications at Cbrands, so I am never working on the same thing for long.
What annoys you at work?
Some of the drivers, especially the ones who like to complain. I tend to get more complaints about mobile phones than cars but they’re usually really trivial, such as ‘the buttons are too small’.
What would make your life easier?
I would like to streamline some of the spreadsheets I use to manage vehicles.
What do you do to relax at the end of the day?
I like to watch films.
