SKODA’S new Octavia Scout – the firm’s version of the Audi Allroad – will cost from £17,725 when deliveries begin in early April.

Featuring four-wheel drive, the jacked-up Octavia estate offers a 17mm higher ground clearance than the 4x4 estate on which it is based, plus plastic protective mouldings at the front and rear.

Power comes from a choice of two Volkswagen Group engines – the 150bhp 2.0 FSI petrol and the 140bhp 2.0 TDI which cost £19,670.
