AA Accident Management has become the latest company to be listed as meeting the Fleet News Charter for Fleet Suppliers.

The firm was nominated by Liz Hollands, fleet manager of DTZ Debenham Tie Leung for the standards of its work, which meet the criteria laid down in the Fleet News Charter.

Hollands, who runs a fleet of 530 vehicles, said: 'AA Accident Management efficiently and proactively manages all aspects of our claims from start to finish, resulting in reduced downtime and successful Uninsured Loss Recovery - all with a friendly and helpful attitude. We don't need to chase them, they chase us.'

The charter was created following a debate at the Fleet News Hit for Six conference in 2006 and was based on the comments of fleet decision-makers about the service standards they would like suppliers to meet.

After a year of development and consultation with the fleet industry, it was launched and it is hosted on the Fleet News' website, along with the names of companies that have achieved Charter status and the people that nominated them.

Among the companies listed are Automotive Leasing, Days Contract Hire, Drive and Survive, ING Car Lease, Gilder Volkswagen, Lex, MNH Vehicle Contracts and Premier Recoveries.

Several more companies have also been nominated and will be listed on the site over the coming weeks.
