Avis UK has won the SOCAP Award for Innovation in Customer Service at the recent National Customer Service Awards for its blog www.wetryharder.co.uk.

The blog site was created in January 2007 to provide an informal platform for interaction with customers, allowing the company to listen to customers and take action from the comments posted by them.

In addition, the blog keeps customers abreast of inside tips and latest innovations at Avis.

In the seven months since its launch, the blog has received nearly 400 comments in over 80 posts.
