A new add-on for the 1link Service Network should mean that service and maintenance work is authorised by leasing companies more quickly.

Job Serving is designed to funnel certain types of requests towards maintenance controllers with specific areas of knowledge, and should stop complicated work being passed over by controllers without the appropriate experience.

Ken Trinder, head of business development at epyx, the company behind 1link, said: “This product has met with enthusiasm from our contract hire and leasing company customers and we expect to see widespread adoption very quickly.”
