Quitters’ warning

Motorists attempting to give up smoking are faced with a new hurdle after being warned not to drive while taking a drug designed to help them quit.

The Government-appointed MHRA Pharmacovigilance Risk Management Group warns that the anti-smoking drug Champix could cause adverse effects that would affect a user’s ability to drive.
