Inchcape Fleet Solutions has presented a Lexus RX 400h to the British Red Cross with the car joining the charity’s UK emergency response vehicle fleet.

The Portsmouth-based vehicle leasing and fleet management company has been one of three fleet suppliers to the British Red Cross, which operates a UK fleet of around 700 vehicles, since spring last year.

The British Red Cross’s international logistics team based in Bristol will operate the vehicle.

When not being used as an emergency response vehicle it will be used to ferry people between Bristol and the organisation’s London headquarters.

Being a hybrid vehicle it is exempt from the London congestion charge.
