New van centre in Leeds

IVECO distributor Northern Commercials has opened its first van sales centre in Leeds.

The purpose-built Van Centre represents a new venture for Northern Commercials and is aimed at raising the profile of the Iveco light commercial vehicle range in West Yorkshire.

The van centre will sell the Iveco Daily range.

'We are projecting sales of up to 200 vans from the new site in 2007, and will be carefully monitoring this growth, with a view to opening more specialist van centres in other parts of West Yorkshire over the next 18 months,' said Roger Peel, dealer principal at Northern Commercials.

Northern Commercials sells approximately 1,000 new and 350 used commercial vehicles annually, comprising at least 300 new and 100 used vans. The company was founded in 1971 and has been an Iveco dealer for the past 14 years.
