BACK in 2001, Peugeot revolutionised the convertible market with the 206 CC.

Although there were more expensive hardtop convertibles, Peugeot bought the technology to the masses, and it was hugely successful. The firm will be looking for more of the same with the 207, and the two main ingredients are there: competitive price and good looks.

Strong residual values suggest CAP reckons Peugeot is on to a winner again, and retaining nearly half of its value means good-value leasing rates.
