How many vehicles are you responsible for?
We have 32,500 vehicles and we replace about 8,500 each year. We evaluate purchases against our lease/buy model and decide accordingly. What is your fleet history?
I joined Royal Mail Vehicle Services seven years ago as IT director and after four years I moved into my current role. What do you enjoy about your job the most?
Change. In this industry nothing stands still, especially in the area of legislation. There is always a fresh challenge ahead. Why did you choose a fleet career path?
By accident really. I worked in Royal Mail IT and saw an opportunity to improve Royal Mail’s fleet systems. I have developed a passion for the industry since then. What is the best advice you have been given?
