Designed alongside the five-door hatchback in Germany and due to be built in the Czech Republic, the i30 estate is expected to go on sale in the UK early next year.
The hatchback goes on sale this summer. Hyundai UK managing director Tony Whitehorn said: “The lower-medium market is the critical segment to be competitive in and Hyundai realises that to compete we must be in a position to offer a mix of models.”
