How does your new role compare to your previous one?
A lot more travel which I enjoy, and greater responsibility which is rewarding. In previous roles, there was little flexibility. At Nexus, you are encouraged to be the driver, not the passenger.
You’ve been in the corporate and leasing sector for quite a few years, have you been following a career plan?
Not really, it’s a funny industry. Once you are in it you either love it or hate it. But 24 years on says a lot.
What’s been your greatest achievement to date?
I guess remaining in the industry for so long. That and some of the account wins over the years.
Do you have any career regrets?
None that you could publish.
What’s the fstrangest thing you have seen at work?
The state of my colleagues after the Christmas party. I think mutant is a good phrase.
What are your career plans?
To progress within Nexus. The company, the people and my role means a lot to me.
