Kia has taken the wraps off its new three-door Cee’d model. It’s continuing with its strange naming policy by calling it the Pro-cee’d.

The model builds on the European look of its five-door sibling. It will go on sale in the UK early next year and will swell Kia’s lower-medium family to three models – joining the Cee’d SW estate being launched in September.

All share the same range of engines – 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrols and three diesels.

With all three models in place, Kia expects to sell around 10,000 Cee’d variants in the UK per year, with around a third going to fleets.
