BMW will expand its 1 Series range in November with the launch of a Coupe version that also debuts two new diesel engines.

Joining the three and five-door hatchback models, the Coupe will be available in three versions – the 120d which runs the recently updated 2.0-litre diesel engine which now boasts 177bhp, the 123d which has a twin-turbocharged 2.0-litre diesel producing 204bhp and a twin-turbo 3.0-litre petrol in the 135i which delivers 306bhp.

All versions feature BMW’s EfficientDynamics package which boosts power and reduces fuel consumption and emissions by various means including lighter body panels, direct injection, stop-start technology and brake energy regeneration.
