Hot on the heels of the C-Class estate pictures revealed last week, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a high performance AMG version.

The C63 AMG boasts a 457bhp 6.2-litre V8 engine driving through a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

It goes on sale in early 2008 and promises 0-62mph acceleration in just 4.6 seconds.
