The future of green fleet services will be a key focus for debate at this year’s FN50 Conference on November 6.

Four leading industry influencers will be cross-examined by conference chairman and television presenter Declan Curry to identify the key green themes that will help suppliers build their businesses over the coming year.

The debate, which will include audience participation, will examine issues raised from a morning of presentations by industry experts, including Simon Barnes, environmental affairs manager, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, and Tim Hudson, commercial director of LeasePlan.

Among the panel taking part in the debate will be John Webb, associate director of Lex Momentum Consultancy Services, and Tony Bosworth, senior transport campaigner at Friends of the Earth.

The debate will end a packed morning for delegates, which will begin with the first major presentation to the fleet industry by Transport Minister Rosie Winterton.

She will provide the fleet industry with a keynote briefing on government policy, including an overview of its environmental viewpoint.
