Company car drivers taking an on-road driver training course with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) will be given a year’s free associate membership of RoSPA’s Advanced Drivers and Riders.

Benefits include road safety information and discounts from some of RoSPA’s products and will apply to drivers taking the training from October 1.

Simon Protano, head of driver and fleet solutions at RoSPA, said: “As people who are advanced drivers are statistically 25% less likely to be involved in a collision, it has to be good news for employers if those using company vehicles meet the highest standards.

“Employers will also know their staff have access to the latest road safety information to enhance their driving knowledge.”
