The conference, sponsored by National Car Rental and Kwik-Fit Fleet, is the annual conference for companies that supply fleet operators, such as leasing companies, manufacturers, fast-fits and rental firms.
This year’s event will include an interactive panel session entitled ‘What fleet customers want’.
Working with conference chairman, BBC business presenter Declan Curry, the panellists will examine the key issues they face and debate aspects of their role with the audience.
Among the panellists are Susan McDonald, head of strategic sourcing for Virgin Media, and Nick Bridle, senior projects and fleet manager at Royal Mail.
The panel session is part of a packed agenda at the conference, which takes place on November 6 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
A session on the future for green fleet services features speakers including Simon Barnes, environmental affairs manager, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, and Tim Hudson, commercial director of LeasePlan.
John Webb, associate director of Lex Momentum Consultancy Services, and Tony Bosworth, senior transport campaigner at Friends of the Earth, will give their views on the green debate.
The conference will also see the first major presentation from transport minister Rosie Winterton, who will provide the fleet industry with a keynote briefing on government policy, including an overview of its environmental viewpoint.
Other speakers include Paul Willis, director of Volkswagen UK; John Mason, head of enforcement operations in congestion charging at Transport for London; Chris Cooper, managing director of international consultancy Challenge Consulting, on improving customer service; and Peter Soliman, chief executive officer of Fleet Logistics.
