2008 BMW 320d Convertible

New additions to BMW’s 3 Series Convertible and 1 Series Coupe line-up will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

The 320d Convertible (pictured) and the 125i Coupe will both get their world debuts.

The topless 320d packs a 2-litre engine with 177bhp that returns 53.3mpg and CO2 emissions of just 140g/km.

It will reach 62mph in 8.6 seconds and continue to 139mph.

The 125i Coupe puts out 218bhp from its 3-litre engine, will hit 152mph and reach 62mph in 6.4 seconds.

Emissions are restrained to 190g/km and combined fuel economy is 35.8.

Both cars will feature BMWs EfficientDynamics programme, which in the 320d Convertible includes stop-start technology.

The new cars will go on sale from March, priced from £33,110 for the 320d Convertible and £25,050 for the 125i Coupe.
