Peugeot is supplying EDF Energy with 87 Partner Origin vans, which will help the company reduce emissions from its fleet by up to 20% by 2012.

The vans are powered by 1.6-litre HDi 90 diesel engines.

The deal builds on Peugeot’s 12-year relationship with EDF Energy, which has seen the manufacturer supply 40% of the 5,000-vehicle fleet.

Chris Pascall, head of transport for EDF Energy, said: “We will immediately benefit from an 18% reduction in CO2 emissions.”
