Jaama is to host a new nationwide series of ‘Fleet Management Essentials’ training days.

Since launching its training programme, almost 1,000 fleet decision-makers have attended workshops on issues such as duty of care and the environment.

“Running a fleet along best practice lines covers numerous areas from vehicle acquisition methods to the use of privately-owned cars on business trips and what to look for from suppliers to compiling driver handbooks,” said Jaama managing director Jason Francis.

“The complexities are huge and the law of unintended consequences can have a huge knock-on effect if one facet of fleet operation is changed without full consideration of its impact across all aspects of the business.”

The all-day training seminars will be held at 14 locations across the UK beginning in Rotherham on March 4 and running through to November 18 in Brentwood.
