CITROËN and Peugeot have revealed first pictures and details of the new Berlingo and Partner, which will be launched later this year.

With the slightly smaller Nemo and Bipper on the way in the spring (see road test page 12), the new Berlingo and Partner have grown in size to distance themselves from their smaller brothers.

Load volume increases over the old model to 3.3 cubic metres while payload rises to a maximum of 850kg.

Meanwhile load length with a folding passenger seat option will be a maximum of three metres.

A new Multi-Flex seating system allows three people sitting in the front for the first time in a vehicle of this size.

Also available will be ESP traction control and hill start assist.
