Drivers will be able to see for themselves whether the new Citroën C5 is ‘unmistakebly German’ at this year’s Company Car in Action event, which will be held at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, on June 17, 18 and 19.

The new Citroën C5, which uses the claim in its advertising campaign, will be part of a 15 vehicle line-up at the drive and decide event.

Brian Roskell, Citroën’s fleet marketing manager, said: “We will be parading our strong environmental credentials with all of our diesel-engined vehicles able to run on up to a 30% blend of biodiesel.”

Citroën has a choice of 24 vehicles that qualify for the ultra-low 10% company car tax band (13% for diesels) and will showcase some of them at the event, including the C4 Coupé and the C1.

“We will also have the C4 Picasso and the range-topping C6 will be available in tax-efficient 2.2 HDi guise, with carbon dioxide emissions of 175g/km,” Mr Roskell said.

“Citroën has the widest range of modern, efficient and safe vehicles available, which is why we can be confident of meeting virtually every fleet need.”
