BMW has become the latest major fleet manufacturer to sign up for Company Car In Action 2008.

It joins some of the biggest manufacturers in fleet, including Vauxhall and Honda, who are taking part in the world’s largest drive and decide event at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, on June 17, 18 and 19.

A major focus for BMW will be its award-winning EfficientDynamics technology, which won the Fleet News Environmental Award at the Fleet News Awards, one of the five trophies that the manufacturer brought back from the event.

The German carmaker has recently announced it will not be attending the British Motor Show, also taking place in the summer.

BMW said: "The main focus for BMW's presence at Company car In Action will be to put EfficientDynamics in front of fleet managers and key decision-makers.

"This will enable them to put into action all the theory they've heard about.

"We're yet to decide exactly which cars we will take to the event, but they will all be EfficientDynamics models."

If you are a fleet decision-maker and you already receive Fleet News, then you automatically qualify for a free driving pass to test the leading fleet models available at CCIA 2008.

Drivers can compare a wide range of models back-to-backand also review a wide range of services from other fleet suppliers.
