Drivers are warned that motorways and major A roads leading to and from the Glastonbury Festival site, at Pilton in Somerset, are likely to be busy from tonight onwards and again on Monday June 30 as festival goers arrive and leave.

The following motorways and roads are likely to carry traffic for the festival: A303, M4 and M5.

Pilton is situated five miles outside of Glastonbury and festival traffic has little impact on the town itself.

Motorists can get up-to-the-minute advice about roadworks and travelling conditions by phoning the Highways Agency 24-hour interactive information line on 08700-660115.
