Armoured vehicle

Hampshire Constabulary has taken delivery of a new lightweight tactical armoured vehicle based on a Land Rover chassis.

It was developed in conjunction with NP Aerospace and Quinetiq.

Out of hours

Venson Automotive Solutions is using All Fleet Services' out-of-hours service to provide 24-hour help for its 8,500 customer drivers who need assistance with breakdown, windscreens, tyres and accidents between 6pm and 8am.

Five year deal

A new five year contract has been signed between British Waterways and Inchcape Fleet Solutions.

The contract covers the outsourced management of the company car fleet, purchasing and disposal services related to British Waterways' purchase of all commercial vehicles.

Alphabet has produced a guide for drivers who are planning to take their vehicle or drive while abroad. It is available from www.alphabet.co.uk

Business finance

Siemens Motor Contracts has been appointed by Koelliker, which imports SsangYong vehicles, as its exclusive provider of business finance.

Siemens will provide each of the 30 Ssangyong dealers with a comprehensive business finance solution to a range of business users.
