How was your first day?
My first day was very exciting. I was introduced to all the members of the team and spent time with each department. I was made to feel very welcome.
How does your new role differ from your last job?
As business development manager, I’m far more mobile and customer service-orientated than when I worked in operations with Leaseway.
What has been your greatest challenge in the role so far?
Learning about a whole new company and being patient before getting hands on.
And your best achievement?
Taking to my new role quickly and developing a good rapport with established customers.
How is vehicle rental changing?
Customers are realising that low rental costs are not enough and that customer service is just as important. Undercutting others in price will not be sufficient if customer service is compromised.
What item could you not live without?
My car – with a huge area to cover, this is one thing I cannot do without.
