Spyshot: Chevrolet Cruze

This is the Chevrolet Cruze – the replacement for the Lacetti.

Disguise aside, the four-door saloon is seen here pretty much in production form ahead of its expected unveiling at the Paris Motor Show in the autumn.

The Cruze will launch in saloon form next March.

Three and five-door hatchbacks will follow later in 2009.

No direct Lacetti estate replacement is planned, although the existing car will continue in production until 2010.

Two petrol engines and a diesel are expected at launch, although that range is likely to expand quickly.

UK prices will be from £10,000 to £14,000.
