New Golf Plus snapped

This autumn will see the unveiling of Volkswagen’s new Golf Plus.

This spyshot shows the new car will have plenty of visual changes and there will be quite a few under the skin as well.

Going on sale in early 2009, the Golf will get its first public outing at the Bologna Motor Show at the end of the year.

The front end will get the same treatment as the forthcoming new Golf but the rear is likely to undergo relatively few changes from the current Golf Plus.

A raft of new engines is expected, featuring direct injection to improve fuel economy and emissions without hurting performance figures.
