Electric taxi

Allied Vehicles has launched an electric taxi.

The E7 taxi will be available from October. Allied is looking for local authorities to install recharging networks locally.

The E7 is powered entirely by lithium-ion batteries, giving a range of up to 100 miles from a single charge and a top speed of 60mph.
