How was your first day?
Having been involved with Dent Wizard business for more than four years it wasn’t too much of a change.

How does your new role differ?
As general manager I now have overall responsibility for the performance of the whole company as opposed to the operation of the franchise business.

What has been the biggest challenge so far?
Recruiting a replacement for my previous role – I found an experienced franchise manager.

And the biggest achievement?
This ties in with the previous answer – I have built a small but focused management team.

What is your favourite aspect of the job?
The franchise business is especially rewarding – from initial meet to launch can take many months and a lot of hard work and planning.

What item could you not live without and why?
The Blackberry wins hands down – it’s the best business tool for people on the move but remembering to turn it off when on holiday can be difficult.
