Cadillac CTS hits market

Cadillac’s brand new luxury saloon goes on sale in right-hand drive form next month.

The rear-wheel drive CTS comes with either a 208bhp 2.8-litre V6 or a 307bhp, 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine, with a 2.9-litre direct-injection V6 diesel unit due to follow next year.

Both petrol engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, with paddle shifts available on the 3.6-litre model.

The CTS costs from £26,995 for the 2.8-litre or £32,995 for the 3.6-litre, and is available in one trim – Sport Luxury.

Just two optional extras are available, other than the choice of paint.

These are a £1,200 panoramic sunroof and a £495 wood finish for the interior.
