CTS estate unveiled

The prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California saw the unveiling of Cadillac’s new CTS Sport Wagon.

The estate version of the recently-launched CTS is expected to hit the UK market in the autumn of next year.

The wagon has the same wheelbase as the saloon CTS but is 7mm shorter, yet still offers a decent 720 litres of luggage space.

Features include a power-opening tailgate, 19-inch alloy wheels and a leather interior. UK engine and gearbox options have yet to be finalised.

A 2.9-litre V6 turbodiesel engine is being developed for European and Asian markets.
