Rental should form key part of van fleet efforts to cut CO2, say TLS

Daily and medium term rental should form a key part of any effort by van fleets to reduce their carbon footprint, according to TLS Vehicle Rental.

It says that the subject of CO2 is rising quickly up the van fleet agenda thanks to the recent publication of new van carbon figures for the first time plus EU plans to drive down average van CO2 levels to 175g/km by 2014.

Simon Cook, sales director, explained: “Cutting CO2 on van fleets should not just be about reducing average carbon figures per vehicle but also about only running the vans that are needed at any given time.”
