Navman Wireless and The Fuelcard Company have joined together to offer preferential rates on their products.

Navman is offering a 20% reduction on vehicle tracking hardware to The Fuelcard Company customers.

In return, its clients are being given the opportunity to save up to four pence-per-litre on the national average diesel price, with an exclusively fixed-weekly rate available only to them.

Customers will also have access to a variety of fuel cards to choose from such as Shell, Texaco, Esso and Keyfuels cards.

Moreover, the cards themselves will be provided free of charge – a saving of around £6 per card.

“After spotting an opportunity to further help our customers reduce their fuel costs, we are delighted to have teamed up with The Fuelcard Company to offer a preferentially priced fuel card that could significantly cut fleet fuel costs,” said Peter Millichap, Navman UK marketing manager.

Lee Atkinson, programs manager at The Fuelcard Company added: “We were well aware of the great opportunities that vehicle tracking presents for fleets - from helping cut-costs to increasing operating efficiency.

“So following our initial discussions with Navman Wireless, we knew immediately that this was a partnership that could prove extremely beneficial for both ours, and their customers.

“From our point of view, being able to offer Navman Wireless products at a preferential rate means we can add-value to our pledge to help customers run more cost effective and productive fleets - it’s a great reciprocal relationship.“

The Fuelcard Company is one of several similar operations owned by FleetCor, which has recently acquired a number of fuel card brands including UK and Ireland business Retail Decisions (ReD).
