Fleet Alliance launches e-fleet system

e-fleet, the new online solution from Fleet Alliance provides the capability to capture business mileage with total accuracy, manage grey fleet and cash allowance vehicles, meet duty of care obligations and reduce fleet administration costs.

Fleet Alliance managing director Martin Brown said: “e-fleet is extremely user-friendly and allows you to manage your entire fleet from one system, regardless of the number of funders you use, including vehicles supplied by other fleet providers and as well as all your grey fleet vehicles.

“Typically where several funders are involved, the fleet manager will receive a number of disparate activity reports that require integration and further analysis to provide a clear picture of the whole fleet.

“e-fleet removes that need and is one of the few systems on the market to provide a totally integrated and complete picture of the fleet that puts the user firmly in control and helps reduce time, effort and fleet admin costs.”

e-fleet has permission-based applications for both fleet managers and drivers alike. Fleet managers are provided with a powerful combination of fleet management and reporting tools in one place to manage more effectively, cut costs and avoid unnecessary charges.

Drivers can use e-fleet to see all models that are available on the company choice list for their particular job grade; to request quotations for their next new vehicle; and to order and track new vehicles online.

e-fleet also provides drivers with the facility to confirm the condition of existing vehicles in a periodic vehicle condition report and to file their business mileages online. In this way, fully automated records can be input directly to the relevant internal department such as payroll or HR.

This capability applies equally for both company car and grey fleet drivers, and allows an audit trail to be constructed that helps that reduces the risk associated with running the fleet from a duty of care perspective.

Martin Brown added: “e-fleet allows the complete outsourcing of the fleet administration for any fleet regardless of its size, and cuts the management burden that many fleet managers are under.

“We have deliberately taken the decision to make e-fleet as relevant for an SME as it is for a major corporation and to provide the same level of functionality for both. We believe that it is important for a business of any size to run its fleet more cost effectively and with the same degree of accuracy and discipline – which is exactly what our new solution is designed to do,“ he said.
