Drivers should start preparing now for the arrival of hazardous driving conditions, according to fleet risk management experts Cardinus.

Colder, wetter weather, combined with the clocks going back will increase the levels of risk for drivers over the next few weeks. To help raise awareness and prepare drivers for the winter, Cardinus Risk Management has launched a Winter Driving Seminar.

The seminar will explore individual knowledge relating to driving in winter conditions as well as illustrate the risks that people take on the roads. Drivers will learn how to read the changing conditions and adapt accordingly.

Marcus Noble, managing director – fleet at Cardinus Risk Management said, “Every year we hear stories of drivers being caught out by bad weather conditions and accident figures go up during the winter months. But good preparation and increased awareness can reduce the likelihood of an accident considerably.

“Cardinus Winter Driving Seminars will provide that awareness and prepare drivers for the conditions they are going to face. Putting this advice into practice will save lives, save time and save money.”
