Manheim on the move

Manheim Remarketing is moving all existing auction operations from its nearby Leicester location into its new facility at Bruntingthorpe.

A massive new 60,000 sq ft auction hall – nearly one and a half acres - is being built inside Bruntingthorpe’s famous Vulcan bomber hanger and officially opens in February 2011.

It is located 10 miles south of Leicester on part of the much larger 670 acre Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground.

Mike Pilkington, managing director, Manheim Remarketing, said: “The results from Bruntingthorpe have exceeded all expectations and we clearly needed to make further significant investment in our facility here to match vendor demand.”
