Wayside van centre secures transporter contract

Wayside Van Centre has secured a contract for its new Volkswagen Transporters in a deal worth over £600,000.

Wayside Van Centre is supplying the premium German electrical appliance manufacturer, Miele, with the new Transporter vans as part of its ongoing vehicle replacement programme.

Miele Project Services Manager, Tony Stephens, said: "We required a fleet that was reliable and one that could meet the growing needs of our business. The Volkswagen van range has always been popular with our technicians so we were very pleased to progress to the new and more refined Transporter range.”

Paul Robertson, Fleet Sales Manager at Wayside Van Centre added: "We are delighted to be working with Miele.

"The arrival of the new Transporter continues to elevate the range keeping it at the forefront of the light commercial technology - not bad for a vehicle that is celebrating its 60th birthday this year."
