Inchcape Fleet Solutions wins another environment award

Inchcape Fleet Solutions’ Environmental Management System has become a multiple award winner.

The technology won the Bronze Award in the Green Apple Environment Awards for the Automotive Industries, which were open to a cross-section of organisations including fleet suppliers, fleet operators, motor manufacturers, component manufacturers and dealers.

This means that the company is in the running to represent the UK at the European Business Awards for the Environment in Brussels next year. The Green Apple Environment Awards are a major international environmental awards scheme, and a feeder into the European awards.

At a presentation ceremony at the Tower of London Inchcape Fleet Solutions was presented with both its Bronze Award and a ‘Green Hero’ plaque by organisers The Green Organisation.

Terry Bartlett, managing director of Inchcape Fleet Solutions, said: “Winning another award for our fleet Environmental Management System clearly shows that we are leading the fleet industry in helping public and private sector organisations to cut emissions from their vehicles.

“We will continue to invest in our online solutions and environmental assessments. Cutting emissions cuts costs and that is vital both for Inchcape Fleet Solutions and our customers. We regularly receive enquiries as to our emission-reducing standards and environmental performance from both prospective and existing customers.”
