Zenith Provecta will provide the Mitie Group with a maintenance management service for 3,000 of its vehicles, as well as accident management for just under 6,000 cars and vans and a daily rental solution. 

Zenith Provecta already provides 590 vehicles under an employee car ownership scheme to Mitie.

Managing vehicle downtime was a fundamental factor during the tender process, as many of Mitie’s vehicles are driven 24 hours a day and are critical to the function of the business. 

Justin Patterson, head of fleet for Mitie Group, said: “Zenith Provecta’s downtime management solutions for both maintenance and accident management, particularly its same day service maintenance and repair completion rates, were an important factor in its selection as a provider.”

Zenith Provecta is managing some 700 service bookings and 500 tyre replacements per month for Mitie and has saved 25% on its maintenance spend within the first two months.

A branded website has been created for Mitie and is being developed to provide functional, real-time data in a more intuitive way, providing enhanced trend analysis and total cost management to assist in cost reduction.
