Avis has launched a new microsite designed to help its corporate customers fulfil their CSR obligations and reduce spending.
The new site features advice on how to drive more economically and provides information on how business drivers can reduce their carbon footprint.
Avis is investing in a number of new initiatives to make sure that its customers and its suppliers are aware of how seriously it takes the development of an environmentally-led CSR policy.
Anthony Ainsworth, sales director of Avis UK commented: “It seems that a commitment to the environment has not taken a back seat for businesses, despite the recession. Our environmental policy is incredibly important to potential customers. And why not? This will enable them to demonstrate a level of commitment that they can then relay to their employees and to their own customers.”
Measures to help businesses support environmental initiatives are very much part of the corporate offering from Avis. “Our strategy is to ensure we progressively reduce our CO2 emissions in our premises, offset non-reducible emissions and continue to introduce less polluting vehicles onto our fleet,” adds Ainsworth.
