"Demand in the commercial vehicle market continues to show mixed fortunes," said Paul Everitt, SMMT chief executive.  "Van registrations are moving forward with another month of positive growth, but demand for trucks continues to lag behind the recovery.  Road transport operators need to see the economic recovery continuing and get easier access to cash to help them invest in new vehicles."
