Chater appointed to ICFM council

Stephen Chater, corporate operations manager at BMW Group UK, has been appointed by the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) to its council.

Chater, a member of the ICFM, has been working in the automotive industry for BMW for more than 25 years.

In this time he has held numerous roles within the BMW organisation and played an active role in improving education within the sector.

His latest senior management role is head of corporate operations, where he is responsible for all BMW and Mini corporate sales channels, including dealer, government, motability, leasing and end-user customer teams along with management of both BMW and MINI competitive residual value positioning within the wholelife cost providers.
